This drum set was originally owned by Camco artist Bill Hargraves. He said this was one of, if not the last kit to be built in the Chanute, KS factory. The kit came in with the following sizes: 12" tom, 13" tom, 16" floor tom, 18" floor tom, 20" bass drum, 20" bass drum. This listing is for a more reasonable configuration: 12" tom, 13" tom, 16" floor tom, and 20" bass drum. The additional drums are available for purchase if interested. The drums have some areas that show their age, but overall are in really nice condition and have not been modified, but have received a light cleaning. The wrap finish has faded to a beautiful ginger ale. There are a few splits in the finish, but the wrap is still securely attached the the shell.
12" Tom: Original hoops and tension rods, as well as functioning muffler. Camco by Kustom drum heads. Split in wrap which is mostly hidden behind top left lug on badge panel and above tom arm bracket. Seam on batter edge rering shows a slight split on the underside, but is still securely fastened. Clean edges other than white paint being worn away from use. Wrap seams securely fastened. Please see photos for reference.
13" Tom: Original hoops and tension rods, as well as functioning muffler. Camco by Kustom batter side head. Split in wrap by the top left and bottom right lug on badge panel. There are a few other small splits in the wrap, which are hidden behind lugs. They seem to be located by the lug holes, so I assume this happen overtime where the wrap was split by drilling holes to mount the lugs. Tom arm bracket shows some rust. Underside of rerings show some signs of ply deterioration, but seem to by secure and only a cosmetic issue. Clean edges other than white paint being worn away from use. Wrap seams securely fastened. 16" Floor Tom: Original hoops and tension rods, floor tom legs, as well as functioning muffler. Floor tom legs show some rust. Muffler knob and floor tom leg brackets show some wear. There is a split in the wrap finish running from the top lug in the panel to the left of the badge panel. Camco by Kustom batter drum heads. Clean edges other than white paint being worn away from use. Wrap seams securely fastened. Please see photos for reference.
20" Bass Drum: Original hoops, claws, tension rods and spur legs. The rubber feet on the spur legs are new. This is a virgin drum with no tom mounting system installed. There is some rust on various hardware items, including the claws, rods, spur legs, and spur leg brackets. There is a split in the wrap in the middle panel to the left of the badge panel from above. There are a few splits and chips in the bass drum hoop inlay strips. The edges are nice overall, there are a few spots where the paint is chipping. The resonant edge rering has a spot near the seam where it looks cracked, but is still securely attached. Please see photos for reference.
Double Tom Stand: This stand is fuctional, but the wing screw doesn't securely tighten the rod, so there is a metal fastener affixed to insure the stand won't fall lose height. There is visible rust throughout.
