This players grade kit would make a great addition to any studio or gigging drummer's arsenal. It was found missing a lot of parts, from being set up as concert toms and bass drum. Also - the interior of the 12" tom was painted black.
To refurbish the kit, the interiors were repainted white and both toms have fresh exterior bearing edges, and have been hand sanded smooth and treated. The bass drum exterior edges were also hand sanded and treated.
Bass drum hoop inlays have been freshly glued down. There is a slight gap on the seams of the resonant hoop, from the inlay being worn down from time. These gaps aren't visible when assembled, claws hide them well. The batter side hoop has fresh inlay, but it has been lightly aged with tinted lacquer to match.
If you know Ludwig drums from the 60s, you'll recognize the flat spots on the panel where the shell seam overlaps. You'll also know that these drums sing regardless.
